Due to the Ontario Government’s modified Phase 2 Reopening (COVID-19), the PJHL has mandated a temporary pause of games until January 27, 2022.

The following games are being paused for the Frankford Huskies

Thursday January 6 – Frankford @ Picton

Saturday January 8 – Frankford @ Port Hope

Monday January 10 – Picton @ Frankford

Saturday January 15 – Campbellford @ Frankford

Saturday January 22 – Napanee @ Frankford

Monday January 24 – Port Hope @ Frankford

Huskies General Manager Ian Green says, “We have been through so much over the last two years, and just like those challenges, we will face this head on.  When it is safe, we will be back on the ice and cannot wait to start back up.”

“No one is more disappointed by the recent announcement than players and staff.  We wanted to hit the ice following a great Christmas break, however this is the hand we have been dealt.  We will be ready once the green light is given,” says Director of Operations Frank Robinson.

The following statement was released by the City of Quinte West.

As a part of Step 2, the City must close all indoor recreation facilities, including the Frankford Arena

The following was a statement from the PJHL.

Plans and schedules are being reviewed and amended as required to ensure we are able to complete our season and compete for the Schmalz Cup.

All of us want to be able to have a safe return to hockey. As the COVID situation continues to evolve we will be monitoring and preparing ourselves to be ready to return to the game.

Thank you to everyone involved with the PJHL, players, staff, officials, volunteers and fans, for your continued support.
