A former Quinte Red Devil is leaving northern Ontario just in time for a playoff run in the PJHL.
Tyson Carr has been traded from French River in the Northern Ontario Junior (A) Hockey League to the Frankford Huskies.
Going back to the Rapids is a Player Development Fee.
The 6’2/180 pound defenceman has 13 points this season in French River.
The native of Bancroft has also played junior hockey with the Brockville Braves (CCHL) and the Brockville Tikis (EOJHL).
Head Coach Pat Shearer says Carr is “an offensive puck moving D-man. He put up great offensive numbers in AAA and in junior. He is a good size right shot rear guard that will help our back end and will play in all situations.”
