Huskies have a great weekend, looking forward to returning home

What a year this is promising to be for our Frankford Huskies.  After a successful weekend saw the boys take 4 out of a possible 6 points, the feeling not only in the dressing room, but around the rinks is that this team is for real.

Currently the Huskies boast a great 6-1 record, good enough for first overall in the TOD division.  The most important thing to date is the way the guys have bought into Coach Pat Shearer’s system, have really worked with, and believed in the asst coaches visions and knowledge, and truly have competed like a Huskies team that knows they are on a mission.

Gm Ian Green had mentioned that although the boys suffered there first defeat of the season versus the always elite, Napanee Raiders, the way the boys rebounded is something we have never seen from a Huskies team in a very long time.

Saturday, the Huskies will host the Amherstview Jets, with puck drop taking place at 6:50pm.

Be sure to come on down, grab your 50/50 tickets, grab a drink in the Lion’s Hall, buy some merchandise, and be prepared for some great Jr. C hockey!

Let’s Go Huskies!!!!!
