Huskies are on a successful Road Trip, Thus Far!

The Frankford Huskies are on their longest road trip of the season, which will see them play 7 games in a row, away from home.  Currently your fellas have a 3-0-1 record, 4 games in, capturing a total of 7 out of 8 possible points, and is good for first place in the TOD division, with 31 points.  3 ahead of the Port Hope Panthers.

Sometimes a long road trip is what a team needs.  Many times these road trips bring the guys together as a group, not only on the ice, but especially off the ice.  Whatever coach Shearer has been preaching to the guys has been working, and the fellas will be looking to keep the ball rolling as they take on the Panthers in Port Hope this Wednesday, November 29.

Highlights of the trip are as follows:

7 out of 8 possible points thus far

Regain first place in the TOD division (31 points)

Consistent goal scoring

Consistent Goaltending

137 shots in 4 games = 34 shots per game

22 Goals For = 4.5 GOALS PER GAME

11 Goals Against= 2.0 GAA

Above Average Special Teams   (Penalty Kill= 13/16 (82%)  Powerplay (7/23=30%) )

So fans, I hope to see you all out in Port Hope tomorrow, or on Saturday in Campbellford, as your boys look to keep the momentum going, and put a little space between themselves, and second place Panthers.

The Huskies round out their road trip next Thursday, December the 7th, as they travel to Picton.  Your Huskies are back at home Saturday, December 9th, as they host the Amherstview Jets, puck drop being at 6:50pm.

Let’s Go Huskies!!!
