Fans, the Frankford Huskies made history Thursday, with their franchise first ever playoff win, as they defeated the Picton Pirates, by a score of 4-3 in Picton.

Scoring for the Huskies were, Maguire Sloan, Caleb Summerfeldt, Curtis Dicks and Hunter Cooney. Assists were credited to, Summerfeldt (2), Garrett Bird, Carter Musclow, Tyler Sawkins, and Dawson Baptie.

Getting the W in goal was Hayden Candler, who turned away 27 of 30 shots put his way.

GM Ian Green attributes the win to a total team effort, adding the players made some great on ice choices tonight, and have really put trust in not only each other, but trust in the system that coach Pat Shearer and his crew have put together.

Congrats fellas, let’s continue to make some more history, and believe in yourselves!!!
