Huskies Earn First ever Point in Franchise History

Dryden Minifie dashed the Frankford Huskies hopes of their first victory with a winning goal 32 seconds into overtime to help the Campbellford Rebels escape with a 3-2 win.

That was part of a two-goal night for Minifie, who also scored late in the third period before Dylan Foster re-knotted the score for his second tally in as many games.

Josh Sainthill added the Rebels other goal, with Tyler Sawkins replying for Frankford. Sawkins also added an assist on Foster’s marker for a two-point game.

Cameron Hansen’s 32 saves were good enough to earn the win, while Andrei Ballack stopped 26 Rebels shots in the loss.
