Frankford Huskies Announced 22-23 Season Presenting Sponsor

The Frankford Huskies Junior C Hockey Club has received an overwhelming response from the community.  In less than 12 months, the team has been able to relocate from Ayr, sign up a full team to play an entire season, and prove they are the best location for the PJHL.

The team is grass roots and community based.  From the Frankford Lions hosting the canteen, to the great help of volunteers, the amazing fans, and the local players and staff, it is incredible.  There there is the sweat equity and financial support from the Quinte West business community.

At the forefront of that business community is Marylou Frost.  A lifelong resident of Quinte West (born in Glen Miller and the past 40 years in Frankford), Frost has not only supported the Huskies financially but also for selling tickets at the main entrance on game nights.  Marylou works tickets, while her husband Bob sells 50/50 to support the team.

Ownership of the Frankford Huskies is thrilled to announce that the 22-23 Frankford Huskies Season is Presented by Marylou Frost of Exit Realty.

Director of Operations Frank Robinson says, “This is a great day for the team.  No one is more supportive of hockey in Frankford than Marylou.  She knows everyone every Husky fan that comes through the doors.  I would go one step further to say she knows everyone in town.  Marylou and Bob put their money back into the community.” Robinson continued, “She and Bob support numerous charity groups, sports teams, organizations, and clubs across the Bay of Quinte region.  She has made a commitment to the Huskies.  This investment goes into our travel, ice time, equipment, and training for our young men.”

“I love seeing junior hockey back here in Frankford,” says Frost. “I remember decades ago watching Junior C hockey in Frankford arena.  The crowds would be hanging out of the rafters and the atmosphere was incredible. My children were enrolled in Frankford Minor Hockey, I was on the Executive and helped fundraise, while Bob was the league convener.”  Frost continued, “This franchise has brought me right back to those days.  To be this year’s presenting sponsor for the Frankford Huskies is a perfect fit, and I cannot wait for the fall.”
