Candler’s shutout Leads Huskies to victory

Hockey arena celebration opening

Fans, if you weren’t there Monday, you missed one heck of a performance by the entire Frankford Huskies team, lead by Goaltender Hayden Candler with a 30 save shutout performance.

The Huskies won their very first home game in franchise history, defeating the Port Hope Panthers by a score of 6-0.

The fellas played a complete 60 minute team game, competed and won almost every battle during game play, and stayed focused on the team goal of getting the 2 points.

The environment in the building was electric, and we as staff are so proud of the boys.

With all of this being said, we are just getting started fans!  Next up for our huskies are the division leading Napanee Raiders, on Saturday with a 6:50 puck drop, in Frankford.

Let’s enjoy this feeling, and get ready to go Saturday boys.

Fans, tickets are available at the gate, 50/50 will be on sale, and the Lion’s Hall is open for food and drink.

Be sure to come on out and cheer on the fellas!
